BAPTISMS & THANKSGIVINGS
In baptism (also called Christneing) we rejoice in what God has done for us in Christ as we make promises and declare our faith in Jesus. If you are thinking of having your child baptised, or you would like to be baptised yourself, please come to one of our Sunday Services and mention this to the vicar who will guide you through the process.
If you wish to celebrate the birth or adoption of your child, we also offer a service of 'Thanksgiving for the Gift of Child'. Again, please mention this to the minister when you attend one our services.
A wedding is one of life's great moments, a time of solemn commitment as well as good wishes, feasting and joy. Marriage is an invitation to share life in the spirit of Jesus Christ based on a solemn public and life-long covenant between a man and woman. It is given as the foundation of family life in which children are born and nurtured. If you either live within our parish or have a qualifying connection with the Parish of St Helier then please contact us
A husband and wife may also have a Prayer and Dedication Service after a Civil Marriage. The Church of England provides useful resources at yourchurchwedding.org.
